i think being tall and lanky is a real advantage at this sport. i've never seen i buff disc golfer that can crank 'em like a tall skinny dude.

@jyazz64 thanks man. Sucks for me, I used to play everyday, with my dog, and loved life. Now I'm stuck at a 7 day a week job and miserable. I miss the parks sooooo much!

@uberschaller It's because there's more leverage with longer arms. If a guy who's buff can get the fast whip, he can throw just fine. =] All about arm speed.

Hm...I'm not totally sure. Dudes like Nate Doss and Avery Jenkins are both big guys, and Dave Feldberg is definitely not tall thin like Climo. I don't know for sure, but I think Jenkins can throw farther distances than Climo.

I love playing disc golf because it gives me so much to work at, ha! It is so effortless for good players. They throw totally smooth shots without tensing up anything.
