Raging Grannies, Clearwater Festival 08 "Better Power" and "We're Not Fixin' to Die Rag"

NYC Metro Raging Grannies and Their Daughters singing in the rain—very heavy rain—at the Clearwater Festival, June 22, 2008. Singing with us were the Raging Grannies and Their Friends of Westchester County, as well as Raging Grannies from Massachusetts and Tennessee. Yes, the audience stayed with us, while we sang under a canopy. Sunny Armer, holding the stars-and-stripes umbrella, posted this video and wrote the lyrics to We're Not Fixin' to Die Rag. Guitar player Pam Drake wrote the lyrics to Better Power. The short Granny in the white hat was 93 years old at the time we taped this and is still singing and dancing in 2009.
