  • WOW, Eugene Ormandy live ! He's leading the Orchestra in a very colourful , transparant performance, but sometimes the tempos are on the quick side, but each part has his own character very much. Neptune is my favourite, because of its original sound and it flows in the universum, yes like a planet you can't touch but only can see (hear in Holst). I 've enjoyed it very much.

  • @berrik500 ormandy usually makes the tempo quick and i like it. i think his this interpretation is excellent. Maybe the best. i m so glad you like neptune such that.

  • I rember seeing the planets when i was young. It was great.

  • Maybe it's what I used to be heard....but it it undoubtedly a great performance.
