Kurt never claimed to be anything more than a human. I guess you could say he just felt a lot more emotion than a lot of people do ( hense: why he got depression). He had a really creative mind, i'll give him that. Plus ,he was handsome and had a good voice. I don't believe he truly was a narcissist, since those type of people seem to only care about themself, and he seemed to not like himself that much. Axl I think is just jealous, Kurt was competition in the looks/songs/influence department.

Is is how I see it: Kurt just wanted to make music, and as far as I've heard he was kinda ashamed that he got so famous and that people were fans of his music. Axl, on the other hand, loves being the center of attention, he really wanted to be famous. Not saying there's anything wrong with chasing your dreams, but it seems like Axl will do just about anything to cause a scene -- get him more publicity. On that note I'm more on Kurts side on this. And I like Nirvana better anyways, so...
