  • businessformula; because of that kind of reasoning, your not part of the top 2%, although you're dying to be so.

  • @businessformula101 'don't talk about the fat cats on wall street', hmmm I smell a rat

  • If today's CEO's practiced like Neutron Jack while he was at GE they would be in prison, laws were written because of him. Jack needs to stick to what he knows; writing books with useless banter everyone knows already and seeking a newer younger wife. "Fix it, close it, or sell it."

Suzy needs to shut up, quit frowning and go back to Jack's bedroom where she belongs. Your are not a business leader, you are a home-wrecking geriatric nurse. Please go away Welch's.

  • I work for a company that uses his techniques. We have to stab each other in the back, insult each other, play mind games and frantically try to manipulate whatever bogus number is asked to reach. Its funny that the "leaders" see this as a better plan then trying to stimulate creativity and teamwork. Bogus numbers don't equal real results. Just ask the federal government and wall street just how true this is.

  • A legend

  • @mercmarc he hardly closed down plants..rather he sold them to companies. These flourished under those companies

  • @DavidHanceQuotivate If you call great sucess shutting down plants in america and sending the work overseas while thousands of middleclass workers have to work at mcdonalds now i wonder. Thats not leadership thats greed anyone can do that.

  • Broadly agree here with him except for the "theyre not machines comment". They are a strong degree and need special regulations (such as environmental, lobbying etc) that individuals don't. Its that kind of talk that leads courts to give absract financial entities the rights of individuals sadly.

  • Jack Welch is a great and humble leader that breaks down the most complex topics into simple understandable frameworks. You can clearly see how he had such great success at GE and now continues as a speaker and author. Thanks Jack for the proven management principles! (David Hance, Founder, Quotivate)

  • Why do we worship people like Jack Welch? He made millions maybe billions , but do we ask how? GE was made by hard working middle class americans, not him. He sent many of those jobs overseas to people who work for pennies. Thats not being smart thats greed straight up. Of course hes not the only one, many companies did this, but GE became the biggest. Why is our economy shot? Why does the government have to provide all kinds of bailouts? Ask Jack where our jobs went.
