In contrast to the refined dishes served at fine restaurants, Taiwan is also very well known for its street food. Mostly found in night markets, these delicacies are often small in portions like snack food thus called "small eats" in Mandarin. These dishes are packed with flavours of regional cultures with fresh local ingredients. So come try the Taiwanese sausages and taste the juicy difference from hot dogs. Voted as the number one snack by foreign visitors, oyster omelettes is a must try! The Taiwanese Taiwan culinary experience can't be complete without serving the world famous Bubble Tea. Originated from Taiwan, this drink of fragrant black tea, milk, and tapioca pearls or "bubbles" can now be found in many major cities around the globe.
