Minecraft Necari Builds - Mob Trap 1.0

Hey guys! Short video on how to make a mob trap using water after the 1.0 Minecraft release. Not sure if anyone has already come up with this idea...but I couldn't find anything. If you have any questions (or comments) feel free to leave them below!
*Note: This mob trap will not work with spiders, but when I come up with one that will, I'll be sure to post it! :D

great vid i have one thing to say fantastic trap but sometimes the loot gets stuck in the back.

@TheGabby187 Yes, I know :( It's not 100% effective, but if you've got the water streams all set perfectly you should get about 95% of the drops. If you're getting way less than that, you might need to check that your water beside the signs doesn't have any dead areas, and that there is no water sources directly behind the glass. The water needs to flow from the signs to the glass. Hope that makes sense D:

@Losertaser I'm not sure what you're asking. I didn't make that spawner, so if you're asking how to make a spawner that spawns creepers...I have no idea? Maybe there's a mod for that somewhere. :P

@TehMonkeyGamer The stairs are there so that the water can push the mob up a level. Without the stairs the water would not push the mob up. :P

For those of you that doesnt now how to change the spawner. first place the spawner in your world where it should be, then go to MCedit and doubleclick the spawner to change it ;)

do you get exp points for killing the mobs? do the orbs come with the items?

to fix the water problem, only use 1 layer of water, no more
