Jigen Lonely for New York: "Manhattan Joke"

This is a weird one. Since location is so important in Lupin, I featured New York City as a character here, also, in addition to Jigen. Going off of his alleged origins in Missed By A Dollar. Sadly, I don't have any footage from Missed By A Dollar. : ( Anyway, plot: Jigen's been all over, but sometimes he gets homesick for New York City, especially because crazy things like cobras jumping from boxes happen to him everywhere he goes. New York is the city where a man can feel grounded, where you can count on certain things. So despite the mafia on his tail, and that he can't even have a moment's peace even in his hometown, it's still home...or something like that. oO

Anyway, Episode 0 tells how Lupin and the others met (although there are divergences from the TV series and the whole story could be Lupin's creation). When do you think the TV special is set? '60s? '70s? '80s?

That would be weird anyway, cause (sorry, i don't want to be inappropriate) Twin Towers are never shown for a form of respect i suppose (repeat, no offence in any way). They don't show Mobiles or PCs either.
