Honestly I don't see anything wrong with circumcision. People say it's so wrong and stuff. the baby is on pain meds. Let me ask something. What about dogs? When they get nurtured their complete balls get taken off but no one defends them. baby's get to keep their balls and it's just a piece of skin that get's taken off. Why is it such a big deal. Honestly. Please don't cuss me out. I'm just asking in a polite way.

If you don't see anything wrong with circumcision perhaps you haven't looked closely at the issue.

Circumcision removes the most sexually responsive skin of the penis, approx. 50% of the skin system of the penis is removed.

It is done without consent.

Those who do it are motivated by their own circumcisions, and money.

Your foreskin is a "piece of skin" in a similar way your eyelids are a "piece of skin".

Babies need nurturing, not immediate surgery to remove healthy body parts.

Thank you for this. This was a great way of stating all these things. Especially the way you explained at the end, about how a baby screaming is actually saying they don't consent in the language they speak, I have never heard it expressed in exactly those terms before, that is an EXCELLENT point!

Do we circumcise dogs? Do we circumcise cats or any other domesticated animal? No! Are you implying that babies are domesticated animals and that they should be grateful they weren’t castrated? Have you heard of human rights?

If a doctor strapped down an adult male (human) and cut off his foreskin, without signed consent, the doctor would be:

1) Struck off the medical register

2) Placed on a sex offenders register

3) Given a custodial sentence

the so-called doctor had no right to circumcise me. did he get permission from my parents?? such permission is irrelevant because my parents are not qualified to give medical advice. i blame the "doctor" 100 percent.

@puppieeyes223 It is immature and ignorant to say "Some one please tell me on here that they would want to imagine their baby boy having sex." They can't pretend that that child WON'T be adult and having sex someday. If someone can't keep in mind the future needs of their children they shouldn't be parents. And how dare you say that the child's body is not his own? I think that's a choice to be made BY the child later on if he wants to be circumcised or not.

@puppieeyes223 why is it ok to pump a kid full of drugs to do an unecessary operation? Think about it, adults chopping away at the genitals of babies! In what way is that NOT wrong? A child is an individual person, they have a right to choose what is done to their own bodies, unless something is directly endangering a childs health, no child should have a part of their bodies interfered with by another human being, not even his/her parents, it's wrong.

@puppieeyes223 It is very important that you put yourself in the position of the baby being circumcised. If you were strapped down and healthy tissue was amputated from your healthy body without your consent wouldn't you consider that a violation of your human rights? Over the last few years studies have shown that the foreskin is not just a flap of skin but an important and necessary organ to the male anatomy. Please research the foreskin for yourself I'm sure the knowledge will amaze you.
