Fred Kanter is part genius, part visionary and part eccentric. He's the kind of guy who makes you believe he could move mountains by his belief in the power of his ideas and the sheer strength of will to bring those ideas to fruition. That's why it was such a pleasure to meet him and his concept vehicle, the 789, a combination of a 1957 Chevrolet front faschia, the interior of a 1958 Chevy and the tail fins of a 1959, all built on a Corvette C6 frame. His company, N2A Motors, which stands for No 2 Alike, builds these one-of-a-kind vehicles. Someday, I hope to tour his warehouse in New Jersey, where he's fortunate to store several Ford concept vehicles, in addition to some of his other creations. • What's with some camera people trying to be edgy and outrageous with their little videography jobs? Can't you just be the eyes of the viewer and not try to take the viewer on your own sickening trip? Viewers take time to look, stare, back away, step in, spend a few moments taking in the objects of attention, not all this swooping and swaying as if the next motion would be a violent regurgitation of the last few cocktails.

  • WTF with the camera swaying like it's aboard a ship in a storm! Or is the cameraman just drunk?

  • I agree with Alky. This cameraman has got an issue. I am seasick from watching the video. Would have been neat for him to shoot the dash, maybe he did but I was probably reaching for my Dramamine.

  • Do you already own a 2009 Corvette?

$80K is only the price if YOU provide the Corvette chassis for them to build the car upon.

If you want THEM to provide the Corvette, your total cost is $139,500.

Better have LOTS of friends. :)

  • can anyone loan me $80,000????

  • cameraman must be AUTISTIC!!

  • You are right on. As a professional videographer I totally agree. Very bad form.

  • alky1957 I agree, I was getting sea sick trying to watch this video...like a version of Deadliest Catch! Where's my Dramamine?

  • Yeah for serious... I started getting dizzy because of how the guy seems to be rocking the damn thing back and forth when he's supposed to be standing still.

  • That cameraman needs his butt kicked and sent back to camerman school to learn to hold the damned camera STEADY. Nice car though. Pity about the photography.
