April is in my Mistress' face,
And July in her eyes hath place;
Within her bosom is September,
But in her heart a cold December.

  • Is the woman in the picture holding a unicorn? o.O

  • ummmmmmmmmmmmmm julie in her eyes???

  • I love thomas morley!

  • I agree (as an alto) it is very hard to sing the soprano part. Although I think my range is adequate in that range (for an alto). I started off in the soprano section of my choir, I could manage, almost.

    The comments are so wonderfully different when you are listening to an old and classical song than other rock pieces NO SWEARING, it is brilliant.

  • @pastlimitfuture AGREED. Trying to breath between "September" and "But in her heart" = impossible.

  • i agree, kind of difficult although i don't think as difficult as Spring Returns. It is a beautiful song though.

  • THIS SONG IS SO HARD TO SING IF YOU'RE SOPRANO.

  • I can understand them just fine...

  • This is a renaissance madrigal, so they are singing it with it's accent.

  • um, i dont understand the accent? are these foreign singers? please respond, im very curious. by the way it sounds very good and unique.
