I'm tired of people saying "WHY DID THEY DO IT" Here's the reason, on December 7th, 1941 the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. America at that time was neutral in the war but the next day America joined in with the allies. Now, do to the Japanese being masters at sudden and surprise attacks, the US Gov. forced the Japanese people of the US into prison camps just so the public wont lose sanity. Some people say why didnt the German-Americans get put into camps. The reason why is because 45 to 60%

No matter the situation, you have to admit the nuke was horrible. It's not something to have "no problem" with. Doesn't matter if Japan invaded an island and killed 2000 soldiers. Doesn't somehow justify killing 150,000 civilians (at least).

Of course, what Japan did was wrong, too. I'm just saying killing civilians isn't ever justified, even in war.

But heck, attacking any country is never really "justified" in most circumstances...

@damian08080, ahh you realize american civilians were killed the process as well too? Also, I have no problem with the nuke. Japan started a war and pushed the united states into a situation that required swift action. Consider the fact that the united states was also at war with the Germans and Italians. As BIGWes said, civilians in Japan were soldiers. Women and Children, much like in Iraq and Afghanistan. The same who play innocent civilian till they shoot you in the back or blow you up.
