@Qriihonen ah, and btw the serial interface on most of those is uni-directional, meaning you can't run it that easily should you go into any advanced GFX involving blending new image with the onscreen one.

Serial control makes it harder for the lower-end MCUs (and why should you go for a PMOLED with a high-end one ;)). 4DGL is a glitchy PIC-based code that never would make it into any non-amateur project as why should I buy a link of PMOLED and PIC to make a device that already has an MCU that can be used to drive the OLED onboard controller directly? ;)
This module has been replaced by the next generation modules. They seem to be available with two software platforms: Serial and 4D Systems' own 4D Graphics Language - 4DGL. The new module names are µOLED-160-G1(SGC) or µOLED-160-G1(GFX)
