  • HEYHOBSONTARRANT! just discovered this post, an I have to say Im a little bit blown away. Im of an age that was lucky to see the man live an have all the Gas Works stuff. My BIG regret is selling Original copy of Whatevershebrings...for a quid on a bootsale in error (my partner took it) and then seein same pressing go for 350quid. not exactly a lottery miss, but I mourn the vinyl more

  • Really cute! :-) All the better for being as it is and not as slick as you might have liked!

  • @Hobsontarrant Well done, you conveyed the story brilliantly,i really enjoyed it.

  • Fine effort- don't think about what the people might say!

  • one of Ayers' best, and clever animation.

    keep going...

  • this is a parody of the Velvet Underground right?

  • @ Hobsontarrant Love it - I've been looking for the best version to show a friend who's never heard it - this is it, thanks!

  • @Hobsontarrant

    hey good effort ma friend

everything gets better with practise or!!

  • Good recording (although the record seemed to jump at one point) and good animation. This is a real classic rock record and I have not heard it for around 20 odd years but it sounds just as good now as it did back then. Main chords on guitar are open E and A.

  • Much appreciated guy. For a first attempt it is good. I could not do that. You tried and did it. Plus, you used one of my favorite Kevin Ayers tunes. Got one of those cigarettes going at the moment.
