Tom McCarthy, director of "The Visitor"

PETER TRAVERS has been the film critic and senior editor for film at Rolling Stone magazine since 1989. He appears weekly as a film commentator on CNN. In this video, he talks to Tom McCarthy, writer/director for "The Visitor" about filming in New York City.

Event: NY Film Critics Series in Morristown. Cast members who took part in the post-film discussion shown here include Richard Jenkins who has appeared in "Shall We Dance" (2004), "Hannah And Her Sisters" (1986), and "The Witches of Eastwick" (1987).

Seated next to Jenkins is Danai Gurira, raised in Zimbabwe, who plays Zainab. She received her M.F.A. in acting from New York University.
