Actually headline I guess someone forgot to tell the coyotes to watch Disney and not attack people. You know it is called reality/ Estimated wolf population for North America is 75-100,000. Deal with reality all predators need to be taught not to mess with humans or they attack humans. Sorry if you can't handle the truth.

nonstereo- Coyotes have been hunted and trapped as long as wolves have been. Wolves were never killed off or exterminated in Canada and they still have massive coyote populations.

Coyotes are just much more prolific and have higher pup survival rates.  No need to state facts that are not proven.

Tell the whole story. The kayakers were feeding the deer on the beach earlier that afternoon. Ten wolves were shot on this tiny ecosystem for the stupidity of tourists. Scott has more to answer for than he let on for this local media release.

The 'theory' that wolves do not attack people unless sick or injured..is a myth. I have over 38 documented incidents of North American wolf attacks, in fact wolves killed a young Ontario University student in Saskatchewan Canada in 2005. (Kenton Joel Carnegie). Wolves however Do have a purpose, and will usually kill old, sick animals, thus keeping the animal population healthy. They are becoming bolder in more recent years..habituation seems at fault.

Wolf attacks are rare and more people are mauled by pitbulls than ever by wolves and how has hunters saved the wolf when at one time they almost became extinct by over hunting and ones now would love to do it. If you hunt for food I can support the hunter but not you redneck wolf killers.
