  • Just found this band...So Far i'm impressed.

    Let The Metal Flow!\m/

  • @deadbutfree33 well, i wouldn't say that. all of them are great. (maybe bodom's later work is bad, but anyway)

insomnium and be'lakor lie on emotion whereas bodom and kalmah on technique. you cannot give them a fair and square comparison imo

I think that the best part for me about Kalmah is that they too sometimes rely on emotion. Their best songs IMO are Heroes to Us and Hades, and both of those songs are not only quite heavy, but incredibly beautiful and very catchy.

I do love Be'Lakor, though. Waiting for the day that Be'Lakor and Kalmah come to the US :P

  • My Top 10 Bands: 1: Be'lakor (Melodic Death) 2: Carach Angren (Black/Death Metal) 3: Meadows End (Melodic/Death Metal) 4: Barren Earth 5: Fractal Gates (MDM) 6: Omnium Gatherum (MDM) 7: Noumena (MDM) 8: Kalmah (MDM) 9: Grey Heaven Fall ( Dark/Atmospheric/Black Metal) 10: Dark The Suns ( Not sure about the genre) I also like Wine From Tears, Thurisaz, Incarnia, Hanging Garden, Essnese, etc.....
  • The end is so beautiful..........

  • Looking forward to their new album! One of my favourite Be'lakor tracks anyway

  • Summerbreeze 2012! will see them

  • Another Masterpiece of this band |m|

  • very very very very very very very very good! like them a lot

  • This is like a cross between amon amarth, my dying bride, and in flames' existentialism. Unbelievably epic combination. No other genre of music, carries this much weight in their lyrics, and melodies. Its beyond me why more people don't give metal its' due respect.

I think it takes a lived life and intelligence to appreciate this.

    Thanks Be'lakor, for existing.

  • @fuckslipknot21 I agree completely. Kalmah's guitar and drum work are insane. I love their first 3 albums.
