  • When we are stressed, the body uses more glycogen. Its survival in nature to want more food if there is some stress coming up so then you have enough glucose to charge on.

    Nicotine raises blood sugar

    Booze raises blood sugar

    Cocaine raises blood sugar

    bread raises blood sugar

    chocolate raises blood sugar

    fruit raises blood sugar....

Is it any surprise the people who load up on the fruit have the least cravings for drugs? Why? They are getting the most sugar and least fat = stable blood sugar..

  • @durianriders hey harley... good to see ya! thanks for bringing up such an important thing here. yes, as people are well-nourished and carbed up, they will have less cravings of course. one thing to be aware of that I have seen time and time again (and graham's wife has a video series on this) is that when we eat healthy carbs and fruit, they are so easy to digest, that they do not suppress the nervous system. eating fruit does not numb our feelings. some people can eat 12 bananas....cont'd

  • @durianriders pt 2... and still feel pain coming up even thought their blood sugars might be perfect, etc. they are not able to allow themselves to feel the pain and so they turn to food (chips, burgers, etc.) to numb the feelings that the fruit cannot block. typically the nervous system cannot be fully alive and active when we are stuffing ourselves with poor food, so we MASK the feeling with the food. it of course is a poor choice, but is something to be aware of for people who need to...

  • @durianriders pt 3... allow themselves to feel again. it can be quite a shock for people who are used to medicating with food so suddenly eat healthy carbs and their nervous system begins to flow again. I support you all the way... to get the healthy food in so that we do not block the things that need to come up, and to allow the serotonin and healthy things to start flowing again. just saying that sometimes a pile of bananas doesn't solve it all. people have to learn to feel again :-) much <3

  • Now I feel stressed and want to go make me a peanut butter chocolate glob. You just mix peanut butter with chocolate, maple syrup and dried cranberries. Stir it up good and then spread it all over organic Fugi apple slices. Eat as much as you want and get it all over your face! Then, for dessert enjoy some sex with either yourself or someone really cute, vegan and kind of nasty. lol.

  • @VitalityMassage LOL! oh my gosh, i almost peed my pants. That was hilarious!!!! hahahaha! i love it!

  • @luvintherawlife This is spooky. I just found out about different faces you can make in photo booth and ordered a puppet for my channel lol!

  • @RawHealingPatch The additional option is that you can enjoy these blissful & holistic activities on the side of an incredible cascading waterfall! If you're going to make all the effort to drive to some falls, it's much better to share your experience with someone as described above rather than just going solo... Additionally, if this person is a really good massage therapist AND an awesome lover, then you are truly blessed! If you both cum at the same time... oh my God... heaven on earth!

  • @RawHealingPatch Thanks for the reply :) Eating mostly raw isn't so much my problem. I love it and feel much better eating this way. I tend to have one lightly cooked meal a day (with rice or sweet potato or broccoli as the base). But if I, say, go out with friends and the options just aren't there on the menu or I have something less healthy or if I'm stressed, I reach for bad alternatives. I'm trying to work out why I am indeed using food as a drug. It's confronting but I'll get there!
