This is one of the best songs Charles Fox and Norman Gimbel ever wrote. I'll never forget the first time I saw this in a theater. The girl behind me burst into tears at the moment when the camera cuts to Marilyn Hassett's reaction to the news of Dick Bueks death. An incredibly uplifting and beautiful film and score.

This was one of the very first late movies i was allowed to stay up and watch with my parents (i was probably around 8yrs old) a classic along with The Boy In The Plastic Bubble

I really wish this movie was out on DVD, I haven't seen it in years but I'll never forget it. My favorite quote "How lucky I am to have known someone and something that saying goodbye to is so damn awful".
