@TheFinishable Wasn't that because the Irish had got a bit sick of winning and having to pay for the show the next time? Put up a turkey to "sing" and they might manage to lose.

I don't get this turkey thing, like on when it was in Eurovision I thought Ireland had gone mad... But I guess it would have been funny had I seen it before the actual competition :)
