I posted this clip of an interview with Master Kanazawa, Kancho, because his words are an excellent guide for us all to live by - especially today, New Years Day 2007. Enjoy - Jon Braeley, EmptyMind Films.

Yes, but America is still not a wealthy country with a relaxed life style.

The American dream is a big lie.

  • How can you respect some ppl that calls themselves "Grandmaster" when you know they havent done SHIT to get to that level? Seriously tho. When compering these so-called GM today to some like Kanazawa or Oyama they dont stand up.

  • @renshiboom kancho obviously has different meanings, it also means the chief instructor of skif - japan, therefore the chief instructor of the world (kancho) which is the highest position you can have in the shotkan karate international federation

  • Graded today with him and his son! It was great, I passed, but I've never done 4 hours of karate before...might take a while to recover.

  • @renshiboom It actually also happens to mean President....

  • Kanazawa Sensei is a Grand Master all the way, he is the real deal.

  • grading on friday yaaaaay

  • @renshiboom

this is 館長(a superintendent) , not 浣腸

but both of them have the same pronunciation ;)

  • So... how do you get a Dan 10? What are the "kata" moves of Dan 10?

  • Umm..."kancho"? Kancho is a Japanese prank where you jam your index fingers into someone's butthole. Why does it say "Master Kanazawa, Kancho" in the description?

  • @Yamtendo

If so, the American dream exist in many countries.

U.S.A has so many problems right now, they are parasites living on debt.

  • @ImIwilliamImI I think the "American Dream" gives people the choice to do whatever they want, and so most people obviously pick the easy path, which is what I think Master Kanazawa is referring to.
