Good on ya mate. Not a lot of people who can look outside of the tutorials and have enough imagination to see if any tubing is playable.

It sounds to me, and this is not discrediting you your idea at all, that the leaks in the tunable didge are quite unbearable for the player. I like the golf cylinder idea and the PVC idea, but I just dont think it's very practical to put the two together. Im not dicrediting your playing either, I just think the leaks are too bad. I really enjoy your videos. You should post more! Great ideas!

Hey nice job with the vid bro. I Used just a long (about 5 feet long) 2 inch diameter pvc pipe and then started a camp fire and put it in the flames (not the coals or wood! just the flame) untill it became somewhat rubbery (not gooey..) and then twist just a little in certain spots to give it a more natural-not so pvc pipe look. and the fire/heat also turns it a nice tanish/brown mixture of colors so it doesnt look at alll like pvc when its finished

I'm not sure if you are referring to my example playing, the audio on this clip, or the instrument itself. The 99 cent plastic didge isn't going to have the same qualities as a well-made eucalyptus didge. A 99 dollar chinese violin isn't going to have the qualities of a Stradivarius either. With that in mind, the purpose here is to present something very inexpensive and readily available that anyone can try out.
