This song always takes me back to 1971 when my grandfather was still alive and I was three years old. My grandfather was such amazing man and he was the love of my life. I knew he hung the stars in the sky. Sometimes he would place me in the seat next to him in his old 1950's Ford and take me to the mercantile and let me fill my old paper bag with as much candy as I could eat. I can still hear his laughter. I miss him everyday. But I know he's still standing next to me. I love you grandpa.

really like this song,it gives me mix feelings,i get emotional whenever i here this ... I would like to have this as my wedding song someday.. I wish just like the lyrics of the song says,my wish wish would come true,I would be standing next to the man I love... :)

My wife and I danced to this song as our first dance on our wedding day. This was my wedding song in 1999 and my marriage lasted 8 years. I miss him every day and this song reminds me why. Everything was so good before the war changed our lives forever. Thank you for reminding me of the good!
