I dont see how this is advanced at all. You can only detect a file with MD5 Hash if the file is unchanged, however most viruses change.

So your probably detecting like... 3% of all viruses.

@RSxPhosphatic wow, what are you a retard or something, take a look, do you really expect to make an anti virus with advanced heuristic detection in visual basic, you clown, this was a tutorial to further peoples knowledge in visual basic, troll, its not meant to be a fully fledged anti virus, no shit md5 is outdated, and alot of viruses would get past it, but its way better then those file path scanners *shudder*, and if you think you can code better than me your dreaming....
