This is a low speed test of my current track plan; obviously a work-in-progress. Just wanted to be sure the scale 80-foot P-70 coaches could snake through the railcars on the sidings, and that there's enough room for all of the cool ES&NA prototypical details that I wanted!

  • Thanks, Randy ... I may have just missed meeting you on Memorial Day weekend; I think you might have been training. If that was you, you looked pretty busy. Smoothest couplings ever, at any rate! It's been too hot the last few weeks to work in my un-air-conditioned hobby closet off the garage, but I'm back at it today. Right now I'm antiquing the track with rusty brown railsides and weathered grey ties so I can get them nailed down and begin ballasting. My unrealistic goal is to finish this win

  • Wow! The amount of detail you've included from the ES&NA is astounding. The correct stored cars, the two tiny narrow guage engines, the rusted passenger car on blocks, the line of MOP MOW cars, the turntable operator's cabin, the office box car...wow! It's all there! Excellent work! Please post a follow up when you have more in place.
