Yaadien - A short Film based on an Urdu poem.

Poetry is awesome I received it on text messages some time back in Pakistan and when we got an assignment to make a short film based on a poem this one was the first which came to my mind. But it was too short so I had to add a couple of verses. I really enjoyed writing the script and executing it into a film with my brilliant team. I think its quite near to the original idea.

It is a zero budget film except taxi fare :)

Very impressive! Loved the poetry (thanks for the subtitles, I needed them!)....

Also the music was very fitting to the atmosphere...and I liked the way it kept changing from colour to black and white to emphasise the memories and the present, that was a nice touch and also very clever...Good work! X

I really like it, some of the effects are well done. However, the poem chosen is way too small to carry a movie this long. It leaves the viewer hanging at certain times, as far as the reading goes. But no complaints about the video/camera work - very, very well done :)
