Oichi's fastest offense is R1 followed by C4. While this may not be her safest move, it is her most damaging. An R1 before her C4 is necessary because against blocking officers, all her preceding normal attacks or non-elemental attacks tend to hit the officer too far away for her C4 last (elemental) strike to connect properly. Now this isn't to say that R1 is a must for C4-3 to connect properly, but it should be a must for to connect consistently. As seen in the video, it is strong enough to KO Kotaro. In order to set this up properly, all that is needed is the officer hit by her R1 when the ball is on the way back. Normally, the best way to do this is to get a two hit combo, hitting the officer both when the ball is going forward and backward (also...it's probably much harder to hit ONLY on the way back anyway lol)

Against stronger opponents such as double defense Lu Bu or Da Ji or Orochi, just kick it up a notch with C4-ex. Note that C4-ex isn't stronger. It just allows Oichi to follow up with more C4-ex's for a faster offense overall.

In tougher scenarios though, she should resort to safer offensive methods, such as C5, because it should be obvious that waltzing right into the middle of a massive crowd to execute her R1 against an officer, isn't very practical.

She's pretty bad against archer hordes. She's a Hanzo, but probably a lot worse. It's not easy to get a charge attack executed, but, luckily she has a useful counterattack. If she were a speed type, it would extremely challenging to beat this challenge.

Oh ya, obviously, Range would have been theoretically better, even though including it would have made almost a negligible difference. I was too lazy to get Range10.

Da Qiao is soooo adorable. She has such an awesome english VA.

I just wish that one of her -ex charge attacks were like that Tornado move in the opening fmv. Oh well...she has no unique -ex moves iirc...which sux. But she's still super cute. Man love the 2nd costume too, lol.

I REALLY hate her weapon. It's so stupid. For some reason I have nothing against the Qiao's fans and Zhen Ji's Flute, but seriously...Kendama is it called? I dunno...I just dont like it I guess.

Oichi is hot though.

@E101Gamma101 in this one and SW3 she's voiced by Tara Platt, the same VA who did Mitsuru Kirijo. She's awesome, but I liked Wendee Lee in the first game too. :D

Hi a question with your weapon element selection. I hardly use oichi at all so I don't know too much about the char, which moves are good etc. Any way..

1) In your description you mentioned range being theoretically better. Range better in place of what other ability?

Also why absorb? her ex's are ok I suppose but I don't recall any that's a stand-out - oh wait.. unless you're referring to using her R1(ex-c1) primarily?. is that the reason? mainly to maximise R1 use.
