Happily, EM, someone in Congress is paying attention. HOWEVER, we need to call/email Senators/Representatives (especially those on Judiciary Committees). Explain that the consent decree has been continually IGNORED and needs to be enforced!
And, yes, keep it in the media. I called Alan Colmes show on Air America last night and brought it up. Other people with brains called in to stay on this topic, fortunately.
Anyone want to call Rush or O'Reilly to get this into the Faux News?

yeah, that's happened to me before.
But back to the caging lists, the news media should have been all over the fact that they took the vote away from black servicemen in Iraq, but only the BBC reported on it.

The RNC signed a consent decree in PERPETUITY to never do caging lists and voter intimidation ever again. This was signed in 1982! They continue to try to sneak these disgusting tactics into every election. There was a trial in 2004 over this. Google "consent decree" republican 86-3972 -- read it and get smart.

Goodling testified that Gonzales' Chief of Staff, Kyle Sampson, perjured himself, lying to the committee in earlier testimony. The lie: Sampson denied Monica had told him about Tim Griffin's "involvement in 'caging' voters" in 2004.

BBC reporter Greg Palast obtained some of the Rove e-mails on the caging lists operation by registering the domain GeorgeWBush . ORG -- seems some members of
the Bush regime aren't too internet savvy and accidentally sent e-mails to the org instead of the com.
This was reported by the BBC, but the US corporate media blacked it out.

Goodling testified about this, it's called "caging lists" but it seemed to have gone right over the heads of the members of congress questioning her.
The program was run by one of Rove's operatives named Tim Griffin. They fired one of the prosecutors and gave him the job.
What they need to look at on the prosecutor firings is who got the jobs.
