With that said, here is my take on some things preppers should keep in their medicine cabinets.

1. EmergenC
2. Activated Charcoal
3. Milk Thistle
4. Guaifenesin (Expectorant)
5. Cayenne Pepper
6. Diphenhydramine HCl (Benadryl)
7. Ibuprofen (Advil)

I have a link to where you can find some of these, if you can't find them in your local drugstore or health food store. http://astore.amazon.com/survivalsupplements-20

[Full disclosure, I do receive a small commission from any amazon sales. I do not recommend products I do not believe in]

  • What about Unfiltered Cider Vinegar . Also raw garlic .

  • @danvelgtr Very good options too. If you mix some raw honey in with some cider vinegar and water it makes an energy drink that tastes almost like lemonade. Quite tasty and refreshing actually.

  • Hi. Good video. I see you are missing baking soda, MMS (Miracle Mineral Supplement/water purification drops), and colloidal silver. Colloidal silver will kill just about any kind of virus. You can buy a generator kit and make your own easily and cheaply. MMS is very inexpensive and boosts your immune system, inhale to clear lungs, spray on surfaces or in water to purify...kills AIDS virus. Baking soda kills cancer, detoxes from radiation, helps digestion, neutralizes poison.

  • @MMermaid19 Good additions, thanks!

  • If you live in an area with brown recluse spiders you can purchase diaper rash cream. It will neutralize the poison. Activated charcoal and baking soda mixed with a little water so it's a paste will also do this.

  • Also, do add aspirin. Two aspirin plus 1,000 mg vitamin c taken every 50 minutes for 3 to 5 doses will kill swine and other types of flu virus and wasting disease. (Less aspirin for children or those under 100 lbs.) You can find lots of great home remedies at earthclinic's site.

  • here are a couple of really useful creams to consider

clotrimazole - antifungal: atheletes foot, yeast infections (thrush), ringworm

fucidin - antibiotic: impetigo, whitlow, sycosis/folliculitis, dermatitis

    hope it helps

  • I would also add elderberry wine. It is a good remedy for colds and flu, (not Bird Flu, however).

  • @UrbanSurvivalcraft In a situation where care is delayed or not there, aspirin is all you have and go for it. If it is a probability, get the OK from your doctor and start a dose daily. THAT can save you. It comes with risks too however. Don't listen to the internet commandos, go to the American Heart Assn, or some other reliable site for information. There is a lot of bad info on the internet. Everyone is an expert here. Listen to the ones that really are.

  • @UrbanSurvivalcraft Motrin does not have the protective action that aspirin does in heart attack. Understand that aspirin is not a wonder drug that will save your life! It causes the blood cells to be less "sticky", it does nothing to reduce the clot causing the heart attack, and isn't enough to stop the clotting process with a single dose. It makes the clot dissolving drugs you will get in the hospital work much better and reduce the mortality of heart attacks when proper care is received.
