So Here's a quick video of how I've made a VO booth in my hotel room closet while in Florida for Star Wars Weekends. Enjoy, JAT

  • You're the only guy i know that takes the time to show his fans the process of his work, I admire you for that.

  • That's a very creative setup! What sort of things would you be recording for at this time? I'd imagine auditions, mainly. It seems like for longer, bigger projects would require you to have access to a studio or go in.

And may the Force be with you down there in Florida!

  • You're as resourceful as a real Jedi Knight! It looks awesome, time-saving, and creative! Great job!

  • You are a GENIUS!

  • Clever.

  • Hi James, I want to thank you for providing us with real insight into the day of a professional Voice Actor. I have watched many informational videos from a lot of sources, some good, some really good and some not so good. And then I found yours, WOW. Please keep posting your videos, not only are they inspiring you also provide great information and creative ideas.

  • lol, JAT, i love how you say "Follow me" like we have much of a choice! XD

  • I did the same thing to my closet at home! Only, I used a quilt, not cushions. Great minds think alike!

  • what a cool voice booth Ratchet

  • that's an awesome make shift studio! haha, my amateur studio doesn't come close to your make shift studio lol. I still have to cover up some of the walls and then I wouldn't even have any space left... Its in my closet as well. I'm thinking of getting a voxguard but i'm guessing its a rip off..

  • Watching this to try and do the same thing in my house. Really good ideas James. It's shame that I'm too tall for my own closet, it's a nightmare for someone who's claustrophobic (my closet I mean).
