Kirby Classic III

This Kirby Classic III was saved from a massive Kirby haul about 6 months ago at a warehouse sale. It is my friend Jacob and I's first complete restoration (total mechanical and cosmetic tear-down and refurbishment) and vacuum that will be shipped to it's lucky buyer once attachments from the buyer are cleaned up . the vac was in pretty bad cosmetic shape when we got it, but great mechanically. as you can see it now looks like new, and sounds great.

might have to look at the bearings. its either bad brushroll, or bearings in the motor. but yes it does need to be addressed before the shipment.

yeah id have to agree, my Kirby classic 3, has more of a roar to it then that slight squeel I hear, is that unit equiped with a metal fan by chance as well?

Serial #B498796 - this indicates around spring 1977 production.
