Your band doesn't usually memorize? How does that work?

Ours has always memorized, I've never heard of one not memorizing.

well that was my high school band.... wed look right it on the music... mostly it was just there for reference people would actually barely have to look at it

I think that was the better performance. I had the video from the noon performance, and there were a few issues.

Did you guys have to memorize your music?

I'm in high school and our band director decided to start having us memorizing ours. I can memorize how the music goes, but never the exact notes.
