Gujaratis lodged complaint against Sandesh (Gujarati newspaper)

A huge crowd of about 10,000 people from across Gujarat organized one kilometer long silent rally from Vastrapur lake to Sandesh newspapers headquarter. After the Vaghela brothers accidental death, vernacular newspapers, specially Sandesh, in Gujarat started publishing one by one stories about Asaram Bapu. Among these stories one particular article in Sandesh mentioned that Asharam Bapu was a bootlegger in early days and used to sell liquor before becoming a saint.
Responding back, today people rallied at Sandesh press in Vastrapur area peacefully. Banners in rally had slogans that said Ravan, Kans and Kauravs had humiliated saints and they had to pay for it later in their life. One can not tolerate humiliation of saint.
A huge section of people across the country, perceive negative stories about asaram bapu and his ashram as disrespect to Sanatan Hindu religion and humiliation of a saint.
બાળકોનાં મોતમાં તાંત્રિક વિધાની વાતનો ઇનકાર
દીપેશ-અભિષેકનાં રહસ્યમય મોત પર પડદો હજુ અકબંધ છે. દીપેશ-અભિષેક પર આસારામ આશ્રમમાં તાંત્રિક વિધિ કરાઇ હોવાના મુદ્દે તપાસ એજન્સીઓ પણ હજુ તટસ્થ નિર્ણય પર ઊતરી નથી. આશ્રમમાં તાંત્રિકવિધિ ચાલતી હોવાની વાત સીઆઇડી ક્રાઇમ હાલ પૂરતી નકારી રહી છે. સીઆઇડી ક્રાઇમના એક ઉચ્ચ અધિકારીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે જો બાળકો પર તાંત્રિક વિધિ કરાઇ હતી તો લાશ આશ્રમ પાસે જ કેમ નાખવામાં આવે તે એક મોટો પ્રશ્ન છે.
આસારામ આશ્રમના ગુરુકુળમાંથી ગુમ થયા બાદ દીપેશ અને અભિષેકની રહસ્યમય સંજોગોમાં મોત થયેલી લાશ સાબરમતી નદીના પટ્ટમાંથી મળી આવી હતી. લાશ મળી આવ્યાના ત્રણેક દિવસ બાદથી બાળકો પર તાંત્રિક વિધિ કરાઇ હોવાનો આક્ષેપ તેમના પરિવારજનોએ કર્યોહતો તે મુદ્દે ભારે તોફાનો પણ થયાં હતાં. આ અંગે સીઆઇડી ક્રાઇમ તપાસ ચલાવીરહી છે.
સીઆઇડી ક્રાઇમના ડીઆઇજી જી.એસ. મલીકે કહ્યું હતું કે બાળકો પર તાંત્રિક વિધિ કરવામાં આવી હોય તો લાશ કેમ આશ્રમ નજીક જ નાખવામાં આવે અન્ય કોઇ સ્થળે ફેંકી દેવામાં આવી હોત. બાળકોના શરીરના કેટલાંક અંગો ગુમ હોવાથી તેમના પર તાંત્રિકવિધિ જ કરવામાં આવી છે તે માની લેવું યોગ્ય નથી. તમામ રિપોર્ટ ઉપરથી જ હકીકત ઉજાગર થઇ શકે છે. જો કે હાલ પૂરતા બાળકો પર તાંત્રિક વિધિ કરાઇ હોવાની વાત માની લેવાઇ નથી.
આ અંગે સઘન તપાસ ચાલી રહી છે. એફએસએલ રિપોર્ટમાં બાળકોના શરીરમાંથી પાણી, ખોરાક તેમજ લીલના કણો મળી આવ્યા છે. જેથી બાળકો ડૂબી ગયાં હોવાનું તારણ બહાર આવ્યું છે.
