@LeonRFpoa I've been rock crawling in eastern Kentucky, Moab, Utah, and where I live now in Farmington, New Mexico. I have yet to see any CRVs rock crawling. Up until I moved to Farmington, I lived most of my life near Tampa, Florida. I NEVER saw a CRV in ANY of the mud holes, never saw them trail riding in the Ocala National Forest. I say this to make a point: people DO NOT buy a CRV for hardcore off-roading. In fact, people RARELY buy them for ANY off roading. THERE'S REASONS WHY!
-
@LeonRFpoa First off, I NEVER said that Jeeps were the best off road.
Second, all I did was take issue with where he said the CRV is the best.
Third, where you said "after your jeep is done" doesn't apply because I no longer own it. I own the '06 Tacoma I mentioned.
Third, I've owned/worked on 8 4wd vehicles and have driven and/or worked on several others. ANd almost every one I have experimented with to see what they are capable of.
So this means I'm not a "troll".
Your post is irrelevant.

@WKHalford um Jeeps are far from the best off road vehicle, it's a fact. Another fact is you have no clue what you're on about but I guess it's ok to troll like a bitch, eh? Shit I've had my little 01 in places that would stop a tank and yes, put good off road tires on them they are comparable to any jeep you'll buy. And they don't break every time out. This little CAR will be on and off the road long after your jeep is done and rusting. Oh yeah and the 01 has a low range what now?! poser.

@akramboulus If CRV's the best , the Audi Allroad what it's?
-
you're tires shouldn't even be slipping in that little amount of snow. Learn to drive. You're making honda look bad.
-
@koltukas1 The best 4x4? I've done some extreme off-roading in places where the CRV wouldn't have been able to follow mostly because of it's limited ground clearance and the lack of lockers/limited slips, factory or aftermarket.
My '06 Wrangler Unlimited with the factory rear limited slip and my '06 Tacoma TRD 4wd both would go places that the CRV wouldn't
For what it's made for I'm sure the CRV does fine. But in NO WAY can it be called "the best 4x4". That's quite a dumb thing to say.

@wtrdogg20 well what more does the average person need? where i live we get that snow like everyday in winter so we have to drive through that up hills and down hills. maybe a bit more snow actually. However a car like that SHOULD be perfect for it :)
-
Wow.... to who is driving.... vehicles need momentum in the snow. Im just saying, in a vehicle like that, you shouldn't have a problem with that little amount of snow.
CRV is the best ..
