Hawkwind Live Falmouth Princes Pavillions, 13th Dec 08 - front row! New Tune! One of two played on the night (the other was a slower number) written with the latest band line up - up tempo and a real grower I reckon, I particularly like the great rock out in the middle. I'd love to know what you think of the new material? ps Sorry about the picture quality - it comes out darker when I've uploaded the mpeg and the autofocus on my compact camera was somewhat confused by the light show!! Souds ok though.. Enjoy!

yeh, lemmy was the "driving force" with hawkwind, and nik turner was "the spiritual" force, and most of the members would admit that.

however, it is true to say that in the 80s hawwind seemed to pander to the heavy metal scene wich did them or their sound no favours.

i tend to go see nik turnewrs space ritual these days, as when you do that you get to se HAWKWIND

I really like this, I too like the middle section. Saw Hawklords recently, they were really rocking. Thinking of going to see Hawkwind in May, this may make my mind up about going.

MUCH better than their 80s shite, this is well back on form, but they have to step it up after nic turners space ritual, and again are sounding pubnky and psychedelic....

the metally rock they did in 80s was rather so not them, they didnt siut it, but since arou d97 they have become psychedelic again more.

asnd this sounds like all the classic hawkwind phases sliced into one.....

good to hear them sounding this good, i might be tempted to go see them again...

The video quality is absolutely equivalent to what a normal hawkwind audience is usually seeing at a hawkwind gig.
