@Butterflyy19; I was thinking the exact same thing!

Go Don and Eileen! RIP Helen. <3

@sonaliegh I know what you mean. I live in Canada and I watch UK Soaps as well as British Soaps, and they never forget their past winners. One of the nicest tributes was to an Actor named Clive Hornby on a Soap called Emmerdale who died about 2 Years ago after playing Jack for 28 Years. What was so amazing was that he wasn't even the Original Jack. If you want to see how they differ type in Emmerdale Farm and you'll see the clips.

What's so sad is that they don't even give soaps this much attention anymore at the Emmys. This year they didn't show footage for the nominees or do an in memorium.

I've watched this over and over again. What a wonderful group of actors, especially the one and only Frances Reid. She will be dearly missed. I grew up watching this wonderful woman.
-
Ruth Warwick, Francis Ried, and Helen Waggner have passed, Ray McDonald,
John Clark, Rachel Ammes (and of September) Eillen Fulton & Don Hastings
are in retirement or semi-retirement. Jeannie Cooper is still going strong.
-
Hey did you know that before she played Nancy on ATWT, she played Trudy Bauer on Guiding Light who was Bill & Meta's Sister who went to New York and was never heard from again.
-
You know what I would love for Helen Wagner (Nancy) do. Send a very special congratulatory message to Bill Roache who began playing Ken Barlow on Britian's Longest running Soap Opera Coronation St., debuting on Dec 9, 1960, and the rest they say is History, and while Helen is in the US Guiness Book Of World Records, Bill Roache is in the UK Version.
Francis Reid seemed to be the crowd favorite
