Attempted to simulate the behaviors of many characters which were spontaneously battling one another by programming the 'will' of those individual characters.
That was, as it were, a battle of creature-shaped full-automatic robots(Biomechanoids) .vs. full-automatic robots.

Used these theories or techniques: Cellular Automata, The Theory of Independent Actor, Simulation of Herd, Modeling and Animation by Dynamic Environment and Particle System.

This focused on to simulate the movements and the interactions between two types of characters which were rolling out an offensive and defensive battle.
Basically, this must be a 3D interactive work, but in 1989, the CPU power of computers was not enough to do complex real-time 3D.
So, first simulated this on wire-frame virtual worlds, and made photo-realistic animation by sequential rendering base on the simulated data.

Screened at SIGGRAPH '89
