The Heavens Declare the Glory of God

Psalm19:1 ¶ A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Genesis 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

God is so Great the making of all those stars are but a footnote in the verse. Think about that.

I guess viruses, bacteria, mutations, and natural disasters also declare the glory of God. The teleological argument and the argument from design is flawed.

@Nashhinton no, the Bible SAYS the *heavens* delacre the glory of God. Do you have a hard time understanding plain english?

"bacteria, mutations, and natural disasters" are the results of Sin, which you would know if you read the very first few chapters of the Bible.

@KingJamesBible, Do you understand Christian theology? God is all knowing right? So since God knew Adam and Eve would disobey God by being deceived by the talking snake to eat the fruit from the forbidden tree, why did God place the forbidden tree and the talking snake in the garden in the first place? That's like me placing a magical poisonous berry in a child's playpen while I had the direct foreknowledge that the child would be poisoned.

@Nash The relationship between Man and God is liken to a man and women marrying. Would you marry someone BEFORE you tested them so that THEY WOULD KNOW?

God does things for OUR sake, he already knows.

Nevertheless, God made a way to ESCAPE

@3rdangelsmsg, Yes but God is the one who cursed Adam and Eve for committing a crime that God fully planned. In other words, God's omniscience of knowing that Adam and Eve would be deceived by a talking snake to eat fruit from a tree that God created + God incompetently decides to create the forbidden tree in the garden anyway, fully knowing that Adam and Eve would be deceived because of God's omniscience= God is a complete moron. If God does exist, to me it's evidence of bad design.

@Nashhinton Those bad things were caused by sin, not God. A result of our God-given power of free choice. When we choose to turn from God, who is light, goodness, happiness and life, we automatically get the opposite - darkness, evil, sadness and death. It is not God's fault - we get what we have chosen.

The size of the stars was estimated by scientists, earth man thought the planets were stars.

At least he shows the sun provides the energy for life so we are not violating the 2nd Law.
