Show me the Door

Richard Digance wrote this, he is an incredibly funny comedian, but also incredibly talented songwriter, playing and performing. I bought an album of his many years ago, called 'How the West Was Lost', mainly because I was interested in the title and this was one of the songs off it, there a few more I would like to do, but that really would be testing the old memory banks. When I was a student everything is far more vivid, raw, challenging and confusing. I had the same idea of saying to somebody 'show me the door if you want me to do', 'show me your bed if I am staying'. Unfortunately I never got that lucky. I was too much in to playing my guitar. Nothing changes then!!!!

I saw him years ago in Croydon, where I used to work. Wow.. the thought of playing with Richard, I think I would have to practice and learn jokes he is a great guy. Cheers .M
