@picposter67 It still is alive ... unfortunately. How many dark skinned sistas are represented prominently in music or film. Or damn, even brown-skinned ones. I loves my black women, though. I lived in Charleston, S.C. for a while and, I swear, the low-country (what the southeastern part of that state is referred to) has some of the finest women I've EVER seen, and with skin like dark mahogany. Absolutely divine those women were. I'm through ranting, though.

@picposter67 it had nothing to do with that. These girls were friends went to school together and started a group in 1988. Nobody was looking for light skinned girls on purpose. And in my view black is black. No matter what shade. All great looking.
