i forgot to ask, what books you used to get started on making your own products. a book on oils would be nice also.

Hi and thank you so much for watching my videos. When I started this business I did alot of research online about oils and creams and emulsifications. I took a couple online classes about making creams. I don't really have one set book to refer you to it was just alot of reading as much as I could about it and practice practice practice. I also encouraged my family to try out alot of my products and give me honest opinions. I'll try to do a cple tutorials on some oils for you.

I really do shop all over and when you really start getting into it and using different suppliers you'll come to realize who carries the better oils. Out of all the companies that I use I really do like Mountain Rose Herbs the best they have a wonderful selection and their oils are superb. I also shop around alot for my containers but I like Specialty Bottle Company's selection. I hope this helps and good luck!

i appreciate your advice however I was only making this video as a basic tutorial in my home just for everyone to have a good starting point. This batch of sugar scrub was for me and not something that I would sell to my clients. When making products for my customers I always sterilize all my containers and utensils and I absolutely wear gloves. Thank you and I appreciate your comment.

I like the scrub but may i make a suggestion. When preparing things an your using your hands to mix it would look better if your wearing gloves. Again i am not trying to be mean but helpful.. Thanks for the video
