Despite their popularity in the UK at this time, it's rather amazing how little was still known about their personal lives. When that interviewer asked in a joking way "Have You All Got Mums And Dads?" he obviously had no idea that Paul had no mum, Ringo had no dad and John hand no mum or dad. When asked if any of them "Have Any Children To Speak Of?" they both seemed to be completely caught off guard when John answered affirmatively. Back then, the press was not nearly aggressive as it is today

@IDLERACER gay byrne (the interviewer) obviously hadnt done his homework (or his researchers hadnt) or he coudnt be bothered because he probably thought that he was more important than his guests. and he obviously didnt know that john had a son (julian). what a tosser.
