BO was chosen (good-looking, charasmatic, reputation they can mold to resemble an icon) by the DNC, made a speech, it went over well, and then his presidency bid was polished and set in motion. Yes, immediately!

Get a grip. I'm from Chicago. Daley backed Dan Hines, not Barack. We (Barack and his volunter team) had to set up our own network outside of the Ward Alderman establishment. It would help to know your history before you sound dopey. Ah! Chicago...The beautiful city on Lake Michigan. The trees are turning glorious colors right now. Barack is a man of integrity, grace, and grit. America will be blessed to have him as President.

Wait. Are you saying that the concert was the main attraction and Obama just was there? No. I'm a Portlander. I didn't know the Decemberist were playing until the day before. Heck, they didn't advertise it. In all the emails from the campaign, not once did they mention that the Decemberist were playing. I found out they would be there from someone else. Sorry, but the Decemberist did not pull in a crowd of 75,000. Barack Obama did, the man who, if Americans smarten up, will be our next president

Lies, they had a free concert organized by Rolling Stones and they endorse Obama. The media lies for Obama so much, they some how forgot to mention the free concert.
