Why Somalia today is a failed state?

its because, Idiots like this guy have been in postions of leadership. look at him, he is even denying his identity as a somali citizen. it does not matter where somebody is born in the world, if your parents are somali speaking and you speak somali, you are somali. He can not even recognise that, and he is doing all this garbage talk to score some cheap political points. He was unionist in the 1960s and signatory of the union agreement.

Egal(aun), was never a unionist. If you know about his background you would know that he opposed rushing into a union with Italian Somalia, but was forced to do so because of majority support for unity. He was Somalia's last democratically elected Prime Minister, and you are luring insults at him? There is nothing that Egal did that contributed to the destruction of Somalia. Oh, let me guess, you are a filthy Siyadist who is looking for another person to blame.

No sane nation on earth would want to have to do anything with Somalia. We in Somaliland are dragging with a dead body with us wherever we go. We are trying to cut that dead body off. That dead body is Somalia.

Don't deceive the point he was head of the delegation that went to Mogadishu and he was devoted and very eager to reunion, the person who opposed rushing into a union was Garaad Cali Gagaad Jamac and if you know remember there is famous quote which Says "Laa Garaad" .. Egal he was failing to in his political plan and after that he fire up using tribe ideology. 1960 there was free election but he did not accepted because of Darood which is the majority.

I have no doubt that the Somali Naago Movement [ aka SNM] does not have capacity to offer any resistance if the two Major players sort out their mess in the South. Burco,Berbera and Hargeisa would fall within a day and you guys would resume what you do best i.e. entertain with ur rock Kaban.

SL=SNM - there is a fog of war in Northern Somalia. Awdal is out, Sool,Sanaag and Nugaal have not been part of SL. You can not force the pple of Northern Somalia to seccede from Somalia. Wait for us and entertain ur selves by learning Amharic or Tigrinya as if u are part of Eithopia. Continue ur no tax policy of Ethopian goods in the hope that Ethopia would get the international community to offer you Aid and diplomatic recognition.
