Thank you, Kenny. You are an awesome teacher. I'm so happy you shared this with us. I can't wait to run out to Lowes to buy the tool and start punching my tank cartos. I'd purchased them "pre-punched," but it's only one tiny little hole and not working. I was about to give up on my tank.......Thanks to you, I can give it another shot b/c I really liked it when it worked.

Hi, how much do regular cartos cost? How much money do you save, and where is a good place to get the cartos? thanks

Thank you Kenny. There aren't many tutorials out there. You are a great teacher. Please keep making videos for us, they are much needed.

Excellent idea and demo video. Thanks to Oliver44 too for sharing it with you. You've got a great talent for doing these things on camera. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Thanks Kenny. Went out and got me one today, works like a champ. Now i can use my C.C.V. Mega LR 1.7 RESURRECTORs in my tank instead of dc which suck.

Great idea. I have finally come to the conclusion that if I cut the hole rather than punch the hole, it doesn't damage the vent tube inside the cart.I like the light draw better.I use a dremel tip on my cordless drill to saw a small slot either vertical or horizontal.I also look into the cart and note the side the coil wire goes down and cut on the other side as not to damage the coil wire. Thanks for the video. More than one way to skin a cat..

Wish I had seen this months ago. haven't figured out a way to punch my own cartos till now. Simple-I can even do this. Thanks

Must not be for girls. I've been at it an hour and no matter what I do the point slides to the side!

This is PERFECT THANKS!
I punched over 40 Cartos and never had that happen. Do you have the black rubber peice in the side with the spike?
