On the contrary I feel this is a good as the old tv people say this is a good season shocker because we get to know the bad guys and it's a simple season shocker.
So for my money it was worth it.

Yeah I'm with you with the clip show hate! they really piss me off LOL
They basically have to make these episodes in shows when the rest of the series is over budget, eg they end up overspending on one episode with too many special effects or whatever so cheap episodes like this are how they compensate.
The Outer Limits was extremely bad for doing this.
