Licking ones lips is an indicator of intense concentration. He has been consistent in licking his lips on almost every interview he has ever done since the murders.
Although this can be an indicator of lying other indicators need to be also present to validate the assumption that his lip licking indicates deception. Of course, since many other indicators are present, its safe to assume he is in deep concentration in order to keep his story straight.
