  • What exactly IS the song you're playing here? I like it.

  • @Stimmtness An incomplete version of the Chinese Dance from the Nutcracker.

  • the finger is in reference to the fact the composer for many pieces on 'A Clockwork Orange' won't let her stuff be posted on YouTube, or nutsie

  • @brendandawna It's in reference to Wendy Carlos' agent sending fraudulent DMCA notices to take down arrangements and performances that were my own.

  • @synthbaron Yeah, I got a notice that my Switched-On performance (done in 1999) of a piece written by Schubert in 1827 was owned by GoDigital Media Group. Damn copyright trolls get me honked.

There's no such thing as Public Domain anymore. Soon, you'll pay a monthly fee to breathe, because someone owns the air.

  • @Shiny317 Wendy's own work ... well buy a copy of Beauty in the Beast.

It's masterful. I'm not kidding. I would rather listen to that than to any of her covers of any classical masters.

Ok, sonic seasonings isn't special but that one record is.

  • MORE! You have to finish this.

  • @Timmybear keep wishing upon a star, mentallyillbear, but prince charming will never show up to rape your unfuckable lard-arse. What as shame.

  • @Wakanover - I'm afraid Miss Carlos is not a queer, sad to say. She is far too conventional for that honorific. :)

  • @Vebinz I blame it on Kubick. A clockwork Orange was so powerful that it made me love that track.

  • @Shiny317

Not true, she composed alot of original works, it's just that, for obvious reasons, the Bach/Beethoven works are the most famous.

  • Much as I like the music done by Wendy Carlos, good for the finger coz ultimately Walter/Wendy Carlos performs mostly other people's music anyway. It's a good job Mozart, Elgar, Bach and Beethoven aren't still around as he/she'd find him/herself forever in copyright and licence wrangles.
