  • Excellent performance...but please tune the 4' register next time!

  • @KLSinCT Oh I know!! She was tuned before, but boy I guess it was hotter in that room than I thought, the 4' went screaming out of tune. Odd really as I've lugged that instrument about from city to city and the other registers hardly ever need tuning, but that 4'! Oh boy....

  • Awesome performance! As always very impressive, You must make the HIP Nazi's blood boil! They need to be taught how to play the harpsichord and quit turning the instrument and its music into a dry pieces of drift wood.

  • @MsMatty709 This is my favourite comment EVER.

  • Para que sirven los pedales del clavecin?

  • @classic01101238 I don't speak spanish, but I assume the question asks do the pedals control the registration of the harpsichord, and yes it does. 16' 8' 4' K 'U8 'N

  • Never heard anything like this played on the Harpsichord.... although I don't claim to be a Harpsichord enthusiast, this is quite impressive. You are very talented.

  • You are one crazeee Welsh harpsichordist !

  • ooooo the 4'... (pulls hair out and runs into the door in hurry to get out of the room).

    Nice playing Chris :)

  • @chriswales19 That's called honky-tonk intonation!

  • me desagrada la interpretacion. I dislike the interpretation

  • EXCELENTE¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • @chriswales19 I have a Model F coming into my workshop in the near future for a complete restoration and am rather looking forward to it...perhaps I should buy your CD for inspiration given that you make this type of harpsichord sound better than anyone else I've heard!

  • @chriswales19 I was merely teasing you! I understand perfectly how these instruments go out of tune in the blink of an eye by no fault of one's own. I'm a professional harpsichord/clavichord builder and just completed a full restoration of a 1969 Herz double (opus 87) this past week that's similar to the Model F, but lacking the 16' register....what a beast! I imagine that you must have arms and fingers of steel to play this demanding music on such a heavy action! Cheers!

  • @chriswales19 i blame the feeling you get when you play XD shows you have emotion ^.^
