@4526016 actually, while SoloRunner01 is right, and usually you start a full mile 9 meters behind the start line for a full mile, the Madison Square Garden track is also less than 200 meters, such that it takes just over 11 laps to complete said full mile....the Millrose track is 145 meters for every revolution completed.

last night was awesome. lagat got number 8 and passed the olympic 1500 meter champ so fast that it made kiprop look like he was standing still. absolutely sick.

yes it is but this is a mile so they start a little further behind the correct start as in a mile there is 1609metres
